DIY Bone Broth Dog Treat Recipes

We love our dogs and are always looking for new ways to spoil them. We have 3 dog treat recipes* using our nutrient-rich Broth Toppers that are fun and easy to make for your pup! Our easily digestible and collagen-rich Broth Toppers are available in Grass-Fed Beef or Cage-Free Chicken and are slowly simmered in small batches in a human-grade food facility. With only 4 simple, pet-safe ingredients including turmeric as a natural anti-inflammatory, you can't go wrong incorporating bone broth into your dog's treats or diet!

*When trying any new treat recipe for your dog, make sure to give only small amounts at a time to avoid stomach upset. Avoid recipes/ingredients that your dog is allergic or sensitive to.

Recipe #1: Easy 3 Ingredient Frozen Dog Treats

Ingredients
1 can pumpkin puree
1 carton Stella & Chewy's Broth Topper (available at neighborhood pet stores)
1 cup fresh strawberries

Directions
Add all ingredients together in a blender and blend until smooth.
Pour mixture into ice cube tray or mold.
Freeze overnight.
Enjoy as a fun summer treat or meal topper!


Recipe #2: Crunchy Baked Biscuits

Ingredients

1 cup whole wheat flour
1/3 cup corn meal
1 tbsp coconut oil
1/3 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup Stella & Chewy's Broth Topper (available at neighborhood pet stores)
1 egg
1/8 cup milk (whole or 2%)
1 additional egg, beaten for egg wash
Additional flour for rolling

Baking Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Lightly grease a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
Whisk together whole wheat flour and cornmeal.
Add oil, Broth Topper, peanut butter, 1 egg and milk. Mix until thoroughly combined.
Place dough on a lightly floured surface and roll out until dough is 1/4 inch thick.
Cut dough into shapes using a cookie cutter or a water bottle cap. Transfer cookies onto your cookie sheet. Continue the process until all dough is used.
Brush the beaten egg onto cookies before going into the oven.
Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Place on a cooling rack. Cookies will be nice and crunchy once cooled.

Ingredients
Stella & Chewy's Broth Topper

Directions
Pour into ice cube tray, molds, or popsicle molds.
Freeze and enjoy!
