Make Homemade Pupsicles 3 Ways

Pupsicles (aka dog popsicles, or dogsicles), are a refreshing summer treat for your pup and can help dogs stay hydrated on hot days! Our pupsicle recipes require the absolute minimum in terms of ingredients and effort, but your dog will go wild for these tasty frozen treats! Gather Your Supplies

  • Silicone Molds (choose a suitable size for your dog, and avoid shapes with sharp edges or corners)
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Spoon or Whisk

You can also use a blender or food processor to whip up your pupsicle mix!

Stella’s Classic Pupsicles

Let's start simple with a classic – Stella's Classic Pupsicles are simple to make, with just 2 or 3 of your dog's favorite meal toppers and a silicone mold! Remember: Once frozen, these pupsicles should be stored in the freezer in a covered container or airtight freezer bag – they’ll be good for about 10 days.

Ingredients:

Recipe:

  1. Pour the bone broth in a mixing bowl, sprinkle in dinner dust, and mix until combined.
  2. Pour the mixture into silicone molds.
  3. Place a Dental Delight in each mold so that it is partially submerged in the mixture to function as an edible pupsicle stick.
  4. Freeze overnight.
  5. Give to your dog as a treat or meal topper!

Layered Watermelon Pupsicles

Fresh watermelon is a safe and healthy human food to give to your pup as an occasional treat because it is both hydrating and low-calorie! As long as you make sure to remove all seeds, the rind, and cut it into bite-sized pieces that are chewable for your pup, this fruit is 92% water and rich in antioxidants, Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Potassium, Magnesium and other vitamins & minerals that are sure to keep your pup hydrated, healthy, and begging for more.

Ingredients:

Recipe:

  1. Blend watermelon and spread into thin layer in pupsicle mold. Freeze for 2-4 hours.
  2. Add thin layer of Greek yogurt on top of frozen watermelon layer.
  3. Optional: Place a Stella & Chewy's Dental Delight in each mold so that it is partially submerged in the mixture to function as an edible pupsicle stick.
  4. Freeze for 2-4 hours.
  5. Blend spinach and bone broth and spread mixture in final layer on top of frozen yogurt layer.
  6. Freeze for another 2-4 hours.
  7. Give to your dog as a treat or meal topper!

Strawberry Banana Bone Broth Pupsicles

Every ingredient in these pupsicles is safe for dogs when fed in moderation, making them a healthy, special treat for your special pup!
