Feeding Guidelines

When fed as a complete meal for adult dogs, use 1 carton daily for every 12 lbs. of body weight. If fed with Kibble, reduce Kibble by ⅔ cup for every 1 carton of Stella’s Stew. Adjust amounts to meet your dog’s individual needs. Always provide access to fresh water. Refrigerate up to 10 days once opened.

Transitioning

Sudden changes in diet, including overfeeding, can sometimes result in digestive issues. Always introduce any new food by slowly mixing with your current diet for the first 7-10 days, increasing the amount of Stella & Chewy’s while decreasing the amount of the other brand.

Chunky pieces of meat and vegetables in a delicious smelling gravy

My JRT Ruger at times doesn’t want to eat. To entice him to do so, I pour a couple of tablespoons of Turkey Stew on top of his food and suddenly he is all in. He absolutely loves it and I feel good about feeding it to him. I work in a pet store so I have all the open but I choose Stella and Chewy’s.

Helped get our dog to eat again!

Not sure why, but recently our Lab went on a hunger strike. We were going crazy trying to get him to eat (believe me, having our 80 lb Lab say no to food was epic)...we tried everything. Finally, we saw this new 'Stella's Stew' at our local pet shop, and decided to try it. It was the ONLY thing he would eat. We bought enough to get him through a few days, and when we ran out, he was back on his regular Stella and Chewy's dehydrated. This stuff was a lifesaver and we are now never without it in our pantry.

CeCe chows this down faster than pizza! Thick, rich stew recipe my dog loves.

CeCe was my brother's dog. He fed her human food. like pizza. I bring her home one of these boxes as a treat. She chows it down so fast I need a special feeder to slow her down. Pizza was banned from her diet, these new interesting dinners get her very excited. If she could lick the inside of the box she would. Unfortunately, the sole downside to this very thick and rich looking stew is that the box is hard to open for elderly hands.

Perfect for mixing in Supplements

I started buying this about four months ago and am so glad I tried it. I was afraid to try a new product because my boy has alot of food allergies, so I am constantly reading labels. However, not only does my Big Boy, who previously would not touch wet dog food, love it but it makes it so much simpler to get him his daily supplements. I mix the powders in with the stew and he gobbles it right up not even aware that they are mixed in. It also makes me feel good to know he is getting high quality ingredients!
