Yummy Lickin’ Salmon & Chicken Freeze-Dried Raw Dinner Morsels

Both my cats just love these Morsels. We are big fans of Stella and Chewys food. We just love the quality of the food.

Believe it or not, I buy these for my dog. She cannot get enough of them. She could eat them all day if I let her

They can't get enough of the freeze-dried and come running for it!

There are so many pet food brands out there that are trying to be healthier and I really appreciate that! I hadn't heard of Yummy Lickin' Salmon & Chicken Freeze Dried Raw Dinner Morsels, but I thought it sounded like a really interesting idea to have freeze dried cat food-- it retains the fresh flavor better and my cats really seem to love them! I was happily surprised to see that they use cage-free chicken and wild-caught fish.

This is Jo's favorite Stella & Chewy product. She prefers dry food, so I like that I can feed it to her without re-hydrating. I supplement with a different Stella & Chewy wet food now and then. Her coat is beautiful and soft and her chin acne went away after I started her on this brand. I have 2 major suggestions for improvement. First, I wish the pieces were much, much smaller--more like kibble size. Jo prefers smaller bites and I also like to feed it to her using a food puzzle, so the current morsels are too big. I break them into pieces, but they do tend to crumble easily so that doesn't always work. Second, I find the quality isn't consistent. Sometimes it's really, really soft and turns to dust. Other times, it's so hard that it's difficult to break apart--let alone bite into. Overall, I would recommend this product but I hope they make some changes.

I have 2 Bengal cats who absolutely love this freeze dried raw food. My cats are both picky and this is the only raw food I’ve been able to get them to eat. I believe that a raw diet is optimal for cats since it mimics how they eat in the wild. I’m not able to use this as my main source of cat food because it would be too expensive. But I use it as treats and sprinkle a few on top of their other food each day. They love getting the treats and I feel good about the added nutrition. My cats like eating them dry, but you can also moisten with water.

when you do the math you find the carbs are 25% of the calories. WAY TOO HIGH FOR CATS!!!! THEY WILL GET DIABETES!!

Without actually tasting them i'd say they must be good based on how my cat reacts. She gets pretty pumped when I add these to her dry food. At first I didn't realize you have to get them wet to rehydrate them. My cat wouldn't touch them dry. We keep these on hand in case we run out of her regular food and we need to supplement until we get a new bag.

I wanted my cat to be on an all raw diet. He wasn't having it. Literally lost weight because he just would not eat any raw I put in front of him. Finally I tried the Stella & Chewy's Salmon & Chicken morsels. He loves it. He only eats it still freeze dried but at least he's getting the nutrition. Luckily he's a great water drinker.

Like some of the other posters, we've had a horrible time trying to find something my boy could eat. And as cat owners know, no, they won't just get hungry and eat. Tried raw, he wanted no part of that. And every kibble I tried made him sick. To the point of diagnoses of IBD and pancreatitis, and still I was getting recommendations for kibble - just moving to Rx types. That plus pills, powders, you name it. I figured there had to be something else. I found and tried Stella & Chewy's at a local speciality store & haven't looked back. No IBD, no pancreatitis. I was so excited the first time he actually had a solid stool - he'd been dealing with diarrhea for so long. I'm not one to push raw food over kibble, it's whatever works best. For my boy, this is what works best for him. He was eventually diagnosed with cancer, but he's been off all meds, etc. for over a year and still going strong. I have no doubt a big part of that is due to the nutrition the Stella & Chewy's food.

My cat has been eating this flavor for a few weeks now. She says it is delicious. She has lots of energy--play, play, play. And her coat looks great! I also like that it is easy to serve. In addition. this food digests really well, which means--no stinky kitty poop. And that is awesome.

I was feeding my cats just kibble and they were getting fat. So I switched it up. The eat the freeze dry raw in the morning and kibble at night. I can already tell a difference with their weight. I was reading online how beneficial raw food is tor weight loss. Sure enough, it works!

I always have this product on hand for my cats. They both love it and there is never any left in the bowl (like there often is with canned food) Plus, I know they are getting really good nutrition every time they eat it. I'm very happy with it.

My cat is getting older and I noticed that he was not eating his food like he used to previously, so I started adding Stella & Chewy's and he is impressed! He goes through food like nobody's business now! I am very happy with this product.

Fan of a lot of Stella & Chewy products, but their freeze dried offerings are my favorite out of their lineup. High quality top tier food option. Sure, it’s HPP but superior to other formats other than raw. Freeze dried is also super convenient for travel, can be crushed up and sprinkled as a little topper, or even used as a treat. I always do this with freeze dried but especially for cats, I make sure to moisten to help with overall hydration. This flavor is my cats second favorite :)

My senior cat has been suffering from IBD for a couple years and has lost over half his body weight due to illness. I tried many brands of food and he couldn’t keep anything down. I ended up trying Stella & Chewy and it’s been a saving grace. My little boy has been eating ravenously and keeping his food down, not to mention he is having healthier bowel movements. He’s slowly putting the lost weight back on and he’s happier than ever. It’s a dream come true.

This is the third flavor of Stella and Chewy's freeze dried food my cat has tried and she is SO into all of them. They are miles beyond dry food- she's obsessed with dinner time now that i've started feeding her this. While this type of food is a big more pricey than dry food, it's totally worth it- you don't have to feed as much, and it's a great way for cats to get their daily water- i plop these in a dish of water and she licks up every last drop.

My cat loves this flavor. I can’t find the large bag so I alternate this with the chicken for a feeding now and then. He won’t eat the turkey one but he loves fish so this worked out great. Stella and Chewy’s food has helped him stabilize after years of problems with inflammatory bowel disease. He rarely vomits anymore and he has been able to gain weight. He still needs small frequent feedings but he keeps this down and he’s much healthier so it’s ok.

We’ve had the Duck Duck Goose freeze-dried raw dinner morsels before this, which was a huge hit! The cats actually chewed through the bag, they liked it so much! And this flavor isn’t any different! As soon as we put down a bowl of these dinner morsels, they went straight to chowing down on it! We prefer a grain-free diet for our cats, so we’re really happy that this product checks off that box. This definitely keeps our cats happy & healthy!

I have been using Stella and Chewy's freeze dried dinner morsels for my 3 cats for a while now. It's the best cat food I have ever given my cats! They each have more energy, more lean muscle mass and fur is so soft - not loosing as much fur either. Only complaint is the new packaging is coming with different ziplock closures which fail almost the moment you use them - Stella and Chewy's please go back to the old zip lock closures!!

This freeze dried cat food is an easy way to give your cat moist food without the cans or mess. Basically you reconstitute the food with half the amount of water as there is food. Let it sit for a minute then stir. My 19 year old cat loved it, but at his age I only let him have a spoonful so he wouldn’t throw up. This is a great idea for those that feed their cats moist food - less mess, easy to travel with, and great nutrition.

My cat loves this!! It’s more like a treat for her!! I always have a bag on hand and a couple of times a week I will crumble the food in her dish instead of hard kibble and she gobbles it up!! I always make sure she has a full bowl of fresh water because I feed it to her dry!! She doesn’t like anything with it or on top - she is very finicky and I have found what works and what doesn’t by trying lots of different things.

Both my kitties love this product. They never fuss about eating it, eat their entire meal, and are always so excited when they get to have this. The freeze-dried products are SO convenient-- I hydrate them with cool water in the fridge for a few hours before meal time. I love that it mimics their ancestral diet. I've noticed a huge improvement in their digestion and fur softness since switching to S&C products.

This is absolutely the only kind of Freeze Dried Raw my very picky Savannah kitty will eat, of this brand or any other competitors brand. She is very fish oriented and will only eat this kind. And she prefers it to be moistened but not goopy, thank very much, for her morning meal. I love the convenience of it, as later on in the day or if we are gone overnight she will eat several of the dry pieces too.

What cat wouldn't like raw freeze-dried morsels? My cat was iffy with the first flavor, but now that he has tried a different flavor, he is onboard. Every time I look in his bowl now the morsels are gone. So, I'm under the impression he loves his morsels. My advice is to give it time at first and only put the morsels in his bowl without any other food. Happy cat, happy mom, healthier for them too.

This was the second bag of Stella & Chewy's that I bought when switching my cat's diet and I have never gone back. My cat doesn't like it mixed with water. She prefers when I crumble them with my fingers and leave a separate bowl of water for her to drink throughout the day. The turkey version is her favorite. She starts meowing and as soon as I place it down she eats it all up. Definitely recommend!

My kitties love this flavor! In fact, their health has made vast improvements! One of them was perpetually weepy eyed and drooly (complications from when he was rescued), and he's normal now! Dry eyed (normal dry) and more alert than ever. My other baby has had gastro issues in the past. Once we started this food, her issues resolved. Couldn't recommend this brand more.

Our cat was having was hooked on dry food, but as was gaining too much weight. Being able to gradually increase the amount of water we add to this, we were able to transition him away from dry food. We have tried alternating flavors/protein sources, but he does not like just turkey or just duck. So, we mix other flavors with this Salmon-Chicken 1:2 and he eats it.

I have been feeding my sweet Savannah this since she was a tiny kitten. She is now 5 years old and has a beautiful coat and high energy. She prefers it mixed with a little bit of water, just to moisten .But she will also eat it dry if I am to be gone overnight.She does eat the wet food, but not her favorite. A great, healthy product that my baby loves!
