My little girl has been eating the duck patties for 6yrs now. Never had a problem before. Lately the patties have been arriving hard like a hockey puck. Can't even break them apart with my hands. When I do complain they will resend me a bag. Sometimes they come soft so I can break them apart. Sometimes they are hard as a puck. Hate to keep complaining may have to switch from Stella and chewy to a different company ??

Forgot to thaw frozen food? No problem!

I bought these to keep on hand for emergencies if I forget to thaw my dogs frozen patties. These are fast to hydrate with room temp water or bone broth or goats milk. I notice no different in my dogs demeanor or stool. It makes for an easy replacement when I have spaced prepping her food. Definitely a must have to keep on hand!
She loves the chicken and lamb heart treats too! I use those if I want to add some organ meat but dont want to buy a huge bag of frozen raw hearts.

My Toy Poodles thrive on this food

I just started buying Stella and chewy 3 months ago. I like the freeze dried products. I feel they are safer for my dogs than dried kibble. I had suspected my Toy Poodle had a corn sensitivity since she was a puppy. And the risks of aflatoxin in Dry kibble makes scared to buy it anymore. I am hoping the freeze dried alternative is safer. And I love that I read on a bag of Stella and chewy, that they do not source any ingredients from China! Love it!!!

Perfect for a picky eater

Unlike her big brother Luca, my toy poodle Lola is a little selective when it comes to her meals. We have tried countless variations of kibble and canned foods but none have gotten her attention. Finally we realized that when their friend Diggity came to stay overnight, Lola wanted to eat her food, which happened to be Duck Duck Goose patties. Now Lola runs to her bowl every morning and gobbles up her food. Thank you Stella & Chewy for making mealtime pleasant instead of stressful for all of us!

Both of my dogs love the duck flavor, and the patties are moist enough that I find them very easy to crumble. I add lukewarm water to the crumbles and that brings out the aroma even more. They eat this product with gusto. My only issue with the patties is that they are very expensive. My dogs are large (63 and 80 lbs.), so I have to combine these patties with a less costly food to keep the cost down. I wish I could feed this to them exclusively, but that's just not reasonable.

Got our picky girl eating again!

We recently took our 1.5 year old St. Bernard on a road trip from Washington to California, and she decided to stop eating her normal food during the trip. We started trying everything to get her to eat again, and these were a huge hit with her, which was a huge relief for us. Once we were home, she still refused her normal kibble, but with the duck duck goose patties, we were able to transition her to another large-breed puppy kibble and she's back to eating normally again!

Healthy ingredients without the filler

When we adopted our 13 pound Yorkie, he was eating another brand of protein as a meal mixer. He showed a sensitivity to the chicken in the product. We decided to try another product, and someone told us about Stella and Chewy's Dinner Patties. We liked the varieties, and alternate between the Duck and Turkey. He loves the patties, and always eats that before the kibble. We are content that he is enjoying his meal, and getting the nutrients that he needs without filler.

Great meal addition and training treat

We discovered Duck Duck Goose patties when our puppy, Bodie, was about 6 months old and we were on vacation. I didn't bring enough training treats and the local pet store in Stowe, VT recommended these. We now always have them on hand. Perfect to add to the training pouch for walks and mixing them into Bodie's meals. We even discovered that they are great for an upset tummy. After a day of dinner patties instead of his regular kibble, his stomach was back on track.

These are one of my girls' favorites!

I feed Freeze dried patties to my girls every morning. I vary the protein, but watching them eat, I believe Duck, Duck, Goose is a favorite flavor. I like the fact that these don't spoil or thaw. I feed frozen patties when it is cooler, but by the time I get frozen home, it is thawed and can't be re-frozen. We are 90 miles from the nearest store that carries frozen and the temperature is always in the 100s in summer. These freeze dried patties are perfect!

Ever since our dog sampled a taste of this product from a friend, she's been hooked on Duck Duck Goose patties, which continue to be one of her top faves in dog food after consuming them daily for nearly a year. They are a tad on the expensive side, but she devours them without hesitation and they are made with very healthy ingredients. She eats and enjoys other dog foods as well, but this one so far tops them all. We always keep a supply on hand for her.

My Dogs Love These!

I have been buying these patties for several years now. I have a rescue Pomeranian who came with a lot of health issues, malnourished and almost hairless down her back. I put her on Stella's and she is like a different dog. She is a normal weight now and her coat is now a glorious soft cream color. Also, she no longer has digestion issues. My other two Pomeranian/Chihuahua mixes love it too. They like all the flavors but I think duck is their favorite.

No More Mealtime Drama

I stumbled upon Stella and Chewey Freeze Dried Dinner Patties while on vacation. ROMEO has always been very unimpressed with eating and mealtime and I've always had to beg him to eat. While on vacation he refused to eat ANY of his regular kibble even with his favorite "stinky" toppers mixed in. I bought Stella and Chewey Surf and Turf and he gobbled down and BEGGED for more. Since then I have tried EVERY flavor except the turkey and chicken (he's doesn't really like the poultry taste) and there isn't one that he won't eagerly wolf down. We travel and camp alot and these are so easy to bring with us since I NEVER have to worry about having to find refrigeration to store any leftovers. These are very highly rated by the Dog Advisory Council and have never had a recall. Do your dog a favor and make mealtime easy for yourself and start buying these!

Our Doodle Loves This!

Our amazing Goldedoodle will be 12 in a couple of months, and he is in fantastic shape. When we meet other dog owners they regularly guess he is 4 or 5 years old and are genuinely shocked when we tell them his actual age. He lives a very good, comfortable life, with tons of outdoor hikes in the woods every day, plenty of car rides and the love and constant attention of a VERY devoted family. But, the one ingredient that has added the most to his health, energy and quality of life has been his diet of Stella & Chewy's Dinner Patties. He absolutely LOVES mealtime, and he has never been a begging dog whatsoever, but he gently reminds us every day that his body clock tells him it's time to eat. And he devours his dinner with joy! We have enjoyed the company of many, many dogs our entire lives and Stella & Chewy's is by far the best food we have ever fed our dogs.

One and only food my pup likes

Lucy, my Goldendoodle, became a very finicky eater at about 6 months old. Thank goodness for a new pet shop that opened about that time. They were willing to give us samples of several foods to try without having to purchase a large quantity. Lucy chowed down on the Duck Duck Goise freeze dried dinner patties, continues to love her food. She’s very healthy and fit, runs like the wind! Thanks for the excellent product.

Perfect fit

This product is a perfect fit for my allergy dog. I had a terrible time finding food that she would eat that didn't cause her allergies to flair up. I tried Duck Duck Goose Freeze-Dried patties and it has done wonders for her! She is excited to eat and has no allergic reactions at all. I've been feeding her this for a few years and at 14 she is still healthy and as active as she was when she was a puppy.

Picky Eater Loves It!

We recently welcomed a rescue into our family, and unfortunately the little guy came to us very underweight. It was a struggle to help him gain healthy weight due to his picky eating habits, until we happened to receive a sample pack of this from a local pet store. Duck Duck Goose is his favorite. We've tried the toppers, different flavors, & he like then too. So far all of the S & C Treats he loves. Fun to try new ones. My little guy is on best behavior when I open the pantry where his goodies are. Our little girl, G C, an older cat, is very picky about her food & will turn her nose up in distaste - but she loves her S & C Toppers.

Prior to working at stella & chewys, my silver lab Kaya was a very undersized pup. She had been eating other raw and not gaining the weight she should have. She was not utilizing the nutrients of the other food. As soon as I switched to stella freeze dried, she gained and maintained her weight without any fluctuations. She has a muscle frame now and at her perfect weight!

I have a very picky cavalier and she loves these! She will usually reject her food after a couple of days but she seems to always like these. I will say that they can get very pricey, especially for bigger dogs which may be a huge drawback. But I like how these are easy to feed and don’t require mixing or rehydration, I just crumble them up and she eats them as is.

All of the Stella & Chewy’s freeze-dried formulas are great. I like feeding a raw diet, and freeze-dried makes it so convenient and easy, especially since we are on the road a lot. I rotate the different protein sources but especially like Duck Duck Goose, Surf ‘n Turf, and Venison. My dog with a sensitive digestive system does well on this. Highly recommend.
