Feeding Guidelines

Store in freezer. When ready to feed, thaw in refrigerator in original packaging. May take 24-36 hours to thaw completely. Once thawed, cut package along 3 sides to open (using caution as our food is nice & juicy!); place food and broth into a resealable container, use a fork to break up food into consistent texture and ensure broth is well mixed. Portion daily as needed. Keep remaining food refrigerated & stored in a sealed container. Food should be used within 5 days of thawing. Serve as a complete & balanced meal for adult dogs or topper for all dogs using guidelines below. Optimal feeding amounts may vary with age, size, neuter status, breed & activity level. Fresh water should be available at all times.

Transitioning

Sudden changes in diet, including overfeeding, can sometimes result in digestive issues. Always introduce any new food by slowly mixing with your current diet for the first 7-10 days, increasing the amount of Stella & Chewy’s while decreasing the amount of the other brand.

My dog lost her mind when I gave her this!

I purchased the meat-a-palooza variety fresh made gently cooked dog food as special treat for my pup. I gave it to her tonight mixed with her normal dry food and let me tell you she LOST HER MIND. She absolutely loved it and I felt really good about giving it her because it was REAL FOOD. This stuff is human grade with no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. I think this is healthier than what my kids get sometimes. I am definitely going to keep some in the freezer for special treats for my pup when she deserves it (which is all the time). It’s easy to prepare, just thaw and serve. The package also includes helpful recommended portions based on the dog’s weight and also how to thaw and how to store the leftovers. Great product!

Scan food for foreign objects before serving

My dogs have been using this product for about a year. I use all the frozen flavors and I use as a supplement to some of the freeze dried pellets. My dogs really enjoy it. I recently bout and found a hard sharp piece of plastic that could have seriously damaged my small dogs. PLEASE break up the food and always scan for foreign objects. I just reached out to the company so hopefully they will respond back. See photos. Object was hard bright green about .33 inches big.

I originally thought this was going to be a one time buy due to it being a little pricey but after seeing how much my dog loves it, I am going to have to start buying it for him regularly. I chopped a little bit of it up and gave it to him as a treat at night and he went crazy over it. I’m pretty sure this is his new favorite food. Now when I bring the container out he starts dancing and crying with excitement.

My sweet girls LOVE Stella’s meat-a-palooza! I usually get farmers dog products for them and mix it with a dry raw dog food mix. Now I only use Stella’s with a kibble and they are hooked! I’ve noticed their energy levels increase and they also seem to have a healthier coat! Give it a try, you will not be disappointed!

My dog had never tried gently cooked food before so I wasn't sure what she'd think but she LOVED the Meat a Palooza! Plus all of the amazing ingredients are visible right in the food. I love that it's a complete and balanced meal.

My little pooch is extremely picky with her food and she gets bored with what she will eat quickly so I honestly wasn’t expecting much. To my surprise, she absolutely loves the Stella & Chewy’s Fresh Made Meat-a-Palooza Gently Cooked Dog Food. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw that she had devoured the whole bowl immediately. I didn’t have to add toppers or anything. This is the first time she’s ever looked forward to eating her dinner. I’m amazed. I have to be honest when I say that it actually smells pretty good too. I’m absolutely buying this for her again.

Yummy treat mix-in

We purchased this frozen gently cooked Stella & Chewy food as a mix-in addition to our dogs' dry food diet. I opened the package, crumbled up the food a bit, and mixed it in their bowls. I barely had time for a picture before they were close to done gobbling it up! They really seemed to enjoy it. I saw the different meat textures and veggies in this mixture and liked the visual appearance.

Our very pampered and spoiled pooches refuse to eat just kibble and the daily task is to find a mix in that keeps them eating. We can’t do the same thing everyday or they boycott! A spoonful of this with their kibble was a huge hit! No complaints- they gobbled it up!
