Lamb Frozen patties

I have been giving my two therapy dogs 7 & 10 years Stella & Chews for as long as I can remember. I was amazed how healthy they look and feel. My older dog had yellowed teeth and I had to brush them, now her teeth are in great shape. They're coat are thick and shiny, they always get a great check up at the Vets. In fact when I first began giving my dog Stella & Chew's the Vet I was using gave me a hard time about giving my dog a raw diet, but I could see how well they were doing on this diet, So I changed Vets and my new Vet sees how well they are doing. Folks often ask me "What do you feed your dogs?" I tell them Stella & Chew's" and because my dogs are out working with so many folks they are a proof of what they eat.

Excellent product quality

I purchased this on a regular basis for my Poodle rescue mutt. She has a very sensitive tummy and very picky taste and I have never had an issue with her refusing to eat Stella and chewy. This particular frozen food is the easiest on her stomach and also easy for the fact that she was a street dog so she inhales her food and doesn't chew it very well and I don't have to worry about that with this food. The ingredients are very high quality with a lot of organic produce and they help keep her coat shiny and her gut happy.

my dog looks forward to these every day

Even though it says dinner patties, I give these to my dog (half dosage only because he eats kibble for dinner) every morning after our first walk together for breakfast. I've been noticing that he rushes to get home for the last few minutes of our walk because he knows he's getting these as soon as we get home! He loves lamb in general and I wanted to try these out as we were trying a different brand but he was pooping excessively which indicated that he was producing more waste than he should be, especially with raw foods. They're easy to thaw out, and easy for my dog to eat and digest. I usually break them up into a mush when I give it to him so the scents of the ingredients come out and it's easier for him to eat than when I give it to him in the same shape it comes in (small rectangles).

Healthy dog /happy family

We bought this product because our older dog had MANY allergies and we were looking for a quality product that would provide healthy food to both him and our younger dog. Immediately we noticed that they loved the taste and did not have as much waste when they pottied (digesting more quality food and less filler product). Their coat and GI tract improved within the first month. It took a bit of organization on our behalf to thaw patties so they were ready for the next feed. It isn't difficult, just different than kibble which was what we were used to. Keep it cold is a MUST because it is raw meat and can make your dog sick if not properly handled. Not all stores carry this product, but we have multiple in our area and appreciate that one in particular carries the largest bag which saves us a little money.

Amongst the best raw foods

I have been buying S&C frozen patties for my golden for well over a year and he does well on it.
My only (2) complaints is how the price keeps going up and also how the bags don't always have the same # of patties which is pretty annoying, especially when you have a big dog to feed, that you may just get a bag where the patties were splitted oddly (they should always be 12 patties in the bag but often it's 11 or sometimes 13). In the long run that also adds up in the cost.

Easy, safe and no allergies

After trying numerous kibble because of allergies the vet recommended raw. After being squeamish about fixing raw, I was introduced to Stella & Chewy's Dandy Lamb by Escondido Feed. Stella & Chewy make a quality product with all the good parts of the lamb and process it in such a way to keep it safe and keep it raw. My dog loves meal time and his allergy symptoms have disappeared. I feel he is getting more nutrition, utilizing the food better and his stools are smaller.

Great balanced raw patty

I purchase 1-2 frozen patty packs a week from my local Mud Bay for my Rhodesian Ridgeback. She is on 100% raw - 2 to 3 patties a day plus a handful of Northwest Naturals salmon + whitefish nuggets (because there isn't fish in these guys!). I LOVE that quality meat is offered; my girl is allergic to grains, chicken, beef, pork, and can be intolerant to Turkey. We usually stick with a rotation of Dandy Lamb, Venison, and Duck Duck Goose! Occasionally I splurge on Rabbit.

My pup always wants seconds

My pup can't wait to eat with these Stella & Chewy's Dandy Lamb Morsels. She actually does a dance when she sees me pulling her dinner out of the fridge. She will follow me around the kitchen to make sure that I know it's time for her to eat - and literally cleans her plate - not leaving a single piece over. She's seven now and has been eating Stella and Chewys since she was 6 months old. Still loves it to this day.

I am proud Schnauzer owner and have had over 30 years many dogs. I have found that with Miniature Schnauzers they are prone to pancreatitis and many other diseases. It has been highly recommended to give these dogs raw food like the Dandy Lamb raw dinner patties. And there are many raw food choices that you can pick from Stella & Chewy.

I completely changed my pets diet in the hopes to eliminate the unnecessary carbs of normal kibble to help get rid of the yeast small. Not only did the yeasty smell go away but with the results I got I would NEVER go back. Soft shinny coat, better dental hygiene, better weight control, SMALLER POOP. Literally everything got better with my dogs and when I travel I just grab a few bags of the freeze dried formulas!

When Fang, my English Bulldog was alive, he loved the Lamb Frozen Dinner Patties. Unfortunately, we switched to raw food too late for him. He already had cancer, but my English Mastiff and other English Bulldog eat raw all the time now. They love the Lamb Frozen Dinner Patties. The Mastiff is 14 years young!! The other Bulldog is 5 and healthy. Eating healthy and raw has cut down on the vet bills.

I have been feeding Roxie Stella & Chewy's for most of her life. She is now 9 years old and has the energy of a puppy and gets great yearly checkups as well. We switch between the lamb and the venison blends as she has sensitivity to poultry, but she loves both of these as well as the occasional beef patties. I love and trust Stella & Chewy's to provide great nutritious food for my fur baby.

Great ingredients - though very high fat-to-protein recipe

My dog loves this food! I wanted to feed raw for nutritional and longevity reasons. The only concern I've had with this food is the very high fat-to-protein recipe. 50-80% fat-to-protein is recommended. This recipe has a 1:1 (100%) fat-to-protein ratio. The other frozen raw recipes contain 58% ranging to 80% fat-to-protein. Why such a high fat-to-protein ratio for the Lamb recipe?

Our Boston Terrier loves the Dandy Lamb Frozen Raw patties, and it is a go-to product for our dog. The frozen patties are easily thawed in the refrigerator. It is convenient to thaw and store 3-4 days worth of food in the refrigerator so it is ready for mealtimes. We have been serving Stella & Chewy's frozen raw food to our 2 1/2 year old dog since puppyhood with great success.

Chester Loves Lamb!

Our picky Chester hardly eats any kibble, so we went to raw food and loves his Dandy Lamb patties! I really appreciate the good ingredients that Stella & Chewys puts into their food. Even though they are grain free, I don't have to worry about heart issues with Chester because of the added Taurine they put into their food. Thanks for being health-minded for our little furry kids!

It's been several years now that I was using the freeze dried patty's till the store got the frozen raw in & even though the dogs were doing great the frozen raw made my 9 year old act like a puppy again. Our dog started having issues keeping good down year and half ago. We tried SO many different dry foods, wet foods, and even making food at home. None seemed to agree with him long term. The pet store recommended the raw food diet and things have turned around! He's putting on weight (lost 25lbs) and we give him the small patties for his tastes. He's one happy boy.

We always keep a bag of Sella & Chewy's Frozen Dinner Patties in our freezer. One of our dogs is very picky with her food, so it makes for a useful mix in, and its so great to change up the flavors every time! Charlie has eaten this for the past four years. I add other Stella and Chewy products, but this is the main one. He gobbles it down. The frozen patties are easy to prepare. I just defrost his daily portion in the frig overnight. A breeder recommended this 11 years ago when I adopted a puppy from her. All my dogs have been eating this ever since.

Finding a healthy option to feed your dog that they will eat is so hard, I've tried everything then found Stella and Chewys! My boy loves the freeze dried raw lamb patties the best. We started feeding these lamb paddies to our Rough collie when she was just a pup. Five years later she is a picture of health and still devours them everyday. We even tried switching her to another brand at one point to save money but she ended up getting terrible gas due to the fillers. Stella’s quality is unlike any other… worth the cost!

Whenever I need to feed a quick meal, lamb patties are always easy on the stomach for my dogs. I usually do a raw and kibble mixture but sometimes I do all raw. I don't ever have to worry about upset stomachs like I have in the past with other brands of raw. Stella and Chewy's raw patties are my definite go-to and especially the lamb patties.
