Just Jerky Bites Real Salmon Recipe

My dogs are absolutely crazy about these Just Jerky Bites! When they hear the bag, they come running. I love that these treats are 95% salmon with no fillers or any of the bad stuff. I also love that they are super easy to break into smaller bite-sized pieces for my small-breed dogs. This is definitely the go-to treat in our house!

I wanted to say thank you. I recently left a review that the salmon jerky product seemed to have changed. It a more refined product, drier with less salmon aroma. We just got our monthly 4 bag supply and the jerky is more like the original product. The dog friendly aroma is back, there is an oily feel and the powdery meal is gone to be replaced by the original coarse texture that my dog loves. I use these as trading rewards with my dog that has serious food allergies. Thank you for going back to the original preparation. So Grateful from New Hampshire I would change my review to 10 stars but I can’t edit the original post.

These treats have been my new go-to training treat. I like to give her a variety of treats depending on their use, but the most difficult kind to find is a high value treat because she's a picky girl. I'm stoked that this treat has become her new favorite high value reward! She listens to me better than she will with any other treat. Definitely a product that I would recommend to anyone having difficulties finding that high value treat!

All past experience w/ Stella & Chewy products has been 5 star. But something has changed. The Salmon Jerky Bites had been a favorite. Our 2 dogs loved it! Previous experience: the bites had a flexible texture. Easy to break in half. Now the product is very dried out straight out of a new opened bag. Hard. Honestly, very hard. Difficult to break into. They "snap". I always check the expiration date, so that has not been the issue. I've noticed this over the last 2-3 purchases. Has the recipe or something with the packaging been changed?

We have loved these since discovering them in December of 21. They were smelly, moist and easily broken into pieces for training and reward. About 2 months ago We were not able to buy them and now since they are back in stock they are much more like a dried cracker then a jerky. Is this temporary? If you have experienced a cost increase in salmon I would be happy to pay more for original recipe. My dog has serious food allergies and the original version was super. My dog is less excited by this new preparation and that makes it a less desirable trading treat. We love the original version.
