I gave our cats this food both dry and rehydrated... and they LOVED it both ways. After eating, they followed me around looking for more (which was a surprise as one of our cats prefers my partner to me, and she usually keeps at least arm's length away from me, and never seeks me out). They loved all 3 flavors... even our finicky cat (which we gave to them as snacks vs a whole meal). I can see us either crumbling or rehydrating, and adding on top of their regular food. Our cat that is on diet food (only) was very upset that we didn't offer him any, so we gave it to him... and he LOVED it too (so we'll have a talk with his Vet to see if we can give it to him regularly as well)!!

My Picky Eater Did Not Like

I was very excited for my cat to try this. I like how it contains real raw ingredients and is grain-free. My senior cat Mischief can be a finicky eater. I put some in a bowl and added water as directed. The morsels absorb the water and become soft, however, I couldn’t break them up enough and I had a feeling Mischief would not like the texture. They turn into spongy wine corks, which are big and hard to break up. While she did eagerly start lapping up the broth, she would not touch the morsels. So while I think this cat food is a healthy option, it’s not something my cat will eat.

Let me start by saying I have an extremely picky kitty. She is a 17 year old Persian and believes she is a princess. Just because she liked a food yesterday does not mean she will like it today. I honestly wasn't expecting her to like this but she loved it! I gave her a little at first and she ate it right up and then kept begging for more. It's been a few days now and she still wants it! We may have found a new food! She normally likes wet canned food and it can only be Fancy Feast. If you've ever used that before you know that stuff stinks!! This stuff doesn't have that strong smell which is also a plus for me!

Zoom zoom kitty!

Sara came to us as a starving 1 year old stray. Thru trial and error, very visits and many different foods, Sara gained weight rapidly dispute her diagnosis of having an “eating disorder” that often had her vomiting. Thanks to Stella and Chewy’s she is now able to eat well, hold down her food and at 12 years old she has the ZOOM ZOOMS for the first time in her life! Thank you!
PS Sara went from a 4 lb kitty to an adult of almost 16! She is now 10!

Cat loves!

My 9 year old cat has had many health problems and is on prescription cat food. I was having a harder and harder time getting her to eat it. My almost 2 year old dog (with loads of food allergies/sensitivities) has been on Stella & Chewy's for a year now, and I noticed my cat crowding her out at the dish to try to get some. I bought the salmon and cod dinner morsels for my cat, and now, just by breaking up 2 or 3 morsels on top of her prescription food and mixing it in she gobbles up the whole bowl. This is a lifesaver, as I was running out of options to get her to eat. Thanks, Stella & Chewy!

My cat goes CRAZY for this stuff!

We've been buying the salmon & cod dinner morsels for my cat for years now & he LOVES it. We typically keep it on hand as a snack (tossing the dried morsels his way or hiding them in a puzzle to work out) and also as wet food, instead of buying cans or pouches of individual servings. It's nice to have the option to feed them as dried morsels or add a little water & feed them as a pate-style food. Regardless of how it's served, our cat goes bananas over Stella & Chewy's & we feel confident feeding it to him because of the great ingredients!

My kitty was curious about the Sea-Licious Salmon Cod Freeze-Dried Raw Food as soon as it arrived. She wanted to try it right meow. Salmon is her favorite food. I added it to her wet food as a topper and will continue to because it helps keep her full longer. I liked that it’s made with minimally processed raw ingredients.
