I started our new pup on this blend, she was on a generic low quality brand, and had watery eyes. After starting this grain free blend, eyes cleared right up!

Let me start off by saying that I love Stella & Chewy's dehydrated and frozen raw foods. My puppy can't get enough of the Duck Duck Goose dehydrated and frozen food. I bought the Raw Coated Kibble for puppies thinking that it was good for my fur baby; however, on further examination of the ingredients label, I notice that there are A Lot of synthetics.
Why would a company pride themselves on producing premium, quality and healthy foods for dogs and cats, market a kibble that is contrary to the company's philosophy? I am really disappointed with this product. I thought I was buying a premium kibble. Unfortunately, I bought a big bag for my puppy. It was just meant to supplement his diet. Now, I will throw it out. I refuse to feed my puppy synthetics . In my opinion, this kibble is a big fail. I expected. a lot better from this company! If I'm wrong about the list of synthetics, please correct me.

The supplementation is specially formulated for our recipe and is used minimally in our products to ensure that your pets always have complete and balanced nutrition. This supplementation is much like the way many humans use a daily multi-vitamin – even the healthiest diet may need a little boost. This way you can rest assured that you do not need to further supplement our products to ensure balanced nutrition.
There are many benefits to synthetic vitamins over natural. Some of the most influential are as follows:
- Less chance for cross-contamination for extra allergens – essentially the issue you’re referencing.
- Longer nutritional viability (so they don’t break down over time as easily).
- The ability to use much smaller quantities due to the fact that they’re more concentrated than “natural”.
- They allow us to pinpoint the specific nutrient we wish to add without negatively affecting other nutritional balances in the food.

I have a rescue puppy that has yeasty ears I was feeding the brand I’ve fed for 12 years but didn’t care for the ingredients in their grain free puppy so i decided to try the oven baked raw coated puppy food & he’s doing excellent on it. No digestive upset or runny poop. His poop is firm & perfect color & he’s going to the bathroom less. I had fed the freeze dried patties to my 15 year old for years but never tried the kibble. And I’m so glad I did. I’m transitioning my 2 senior dogs to it also

I started my puppy on your puppy chicken formula and I am very happy with my choice. I was/am concerned bc my puppy is very tiny at only 3.5 lbs. I needed to make sure that the food I feed her is high quality and nutritious and yummy for my fur baby. My puppy loved the taste of the dog food and loves the tiny kibble I LOVE THE FACT THAT MY PUP LIKES THE TASTE AND IM CONFIDENT SHES GETTING THE MOST NUTRITIOUS DOG FOOD AVAILABLE.

I just started the gradual switch from Iams to Stella and chewy. On the first day he couldn’t stay out of his food bowl! We are on day four, and he has now learned how to pick out his favorite pieces of kibble and leave the other older brand on the floor. I can’t wait till the transition is complete because he absolutely loves Stella and Chewy! And I feel good as a Yorkie mom, knowing that I’m giving him the best!

My puppy girl Ellie was not liking her other food and would just fuss and not eat right away, she would eat when she had to and I was really concerned. I have been feeding this product to my 11 months Barbet in a daily basis and he is healthy and energetic, no issues. Also he seems to enjoy it so much. Every time I open a new bag Choco sits right next to me to wait for a serving (even tho is not time for a meal). He loves it fresh 😋

Was recommend for our first puppy 2 years ago, by our vet, then we got a second, they love it! We did start mixing it with some small bites adult and they love it! Any dog that comes to visit always steals their food and empties their bowls. Thank you for such a great product!

Watch out for mold and no accountability

Never again. I purchased multiple bags of this food for my German shepherd puppy only to find all the bags had mold in it. Clearly it was a lot number issue. I called the company after hundreds of dollars in vet bills and my puppy’s lungs looking like a senior dogs lungs on X-rays from ingesting it. The company did NOTHING to make it right. Worst of all didn’t alert anyone else that may have purchased the food.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Solved stomach problems

My pup has a sensitive stomach. I tried many premium brands without luck. I was resigned to boiled chicken and white rice but wanted to make sure he got his vitamins and other key nutrients. After reading about this product i gave it a try. I mix it in to his rice and chicken and he has gone from a picky eater with frequent upsets to an eager eater with very rare problems. On my third bag now!!

I wish I would have found this puppy kibble sooner. After trying several expensive brands of healthy puppy food that my pup would not eat, I found Stella & Chewys raw coated kibble. Since I already knew that my boy loved the Stella & Chewys freeze dried meal toppers, I decided to give the kibble a try. SO glad I did. He loves it. Especially when I add the toppers!! Also LOVE the blends.

I have been using Stella & Chewy brand for about 3 years, I have two elderly dogs each one of them are over 12 years old but just got a new dog [a rescue] who has never been fed or cred for properly, lots o f neglect. I was skeptical about if he would eat this food and he loved it. I always add a topper, sometimes I grilled a little boneless chicken and shred and add as topper for even more protein and worked better than excellent. Within 6 months the change in coat and his body are beyond great.

The healthiest dog food on the market!

We initially fed our Miniature Schnauzer puppy Purina Pro puppy food for a few months but didn't like all the processing and questionable ingredients on the label so we did our research and switched to Stella & Chewy's Chicken Raw Coated Kibble for puppies. We eat very healthy at home and want to treat our dog to the same healthy lifestyle. He loves the raw coated kibble and is thriving on it. He is 9 months old and been eating it since he was 4 months old. I looked up independent tests on the quality and healthiness of popular dog food and Stella & Chewy's was at the top right below home cooked food so I know I'm doing the right thing by feeding it to my dog (all the major processed dog foods were all lower on the list). When he turns 1 I'll switch him over to the Stella & Chewy's regular raw coated kibble.
