Love at First Taste

My cat Fred who is a rescue kitty but I feel
that he rescued me. I’m a veterinary technician and my cat loves these treats and I recommend them to my patient’s owners also. Fred goes crazy for these and they are very heathy which is wonderful. He is almost 12 years old and these threats have helped him with his energy jumping and doing kitty sprints up and down the hallway. Love at first bite

My friend rescued 2 kittens. One had Leukemia so I read that raw food were best and started her on this product. I would moisten it for her and she loved it. Unfortunately, she passed away within 6 months and I gave what was leftover in the bag to her sister and she too loves it but likes it dry so she can pull it out of the dish and play with the morsel before eating it!

Cat loves it ,but it might have too much bone in it.

My cat loves this flavor but I switch between it and turkey in the same day. I feel good feeding raw, but he has had issues with urinary crystals in the past and I worry that there's too much bone in this. His poop is very light when he eats this. I make sure he gets a ton of water just in case, but for the price of one bag I'd feel better knowing the exact ratio and whether I'm feeding him anything that could harm him. A serving for a 10lb cat is 1/4 cup more in this flavor than in the turkey. I try to stock up when they're on sale but it doesn't always work out that way. I only feed Stella and Chewy (my other cat eats the canned). It is VERY expensive.

My senior cat is so picky!

Our 19 year old switches his cravings almost daily, BUT when we introduced freeze dried stella chicken, he clears his bowl! Seniors lose their senses and such so it’s been a challenge to keep weight on him. We tried duck, rabbit etc, but they were too hard for him to chew at his age. Only thing Mr. Higgins a rescue black cat from Sarasota FL will eat. Thank you!

My cat absolutely loves this product. She’s constantly trying to get into the cupboard where the morsels are stored. I mix a few morsels into her other wet cat foods which seems to make her happy. Her energy level seems better, her coat is thicker so I’m having to brush her more but I don’t mind that. Overall Sweetpea and I give it a 10 with two thumbs up!

Harry, my now 13 year old cat, was having some health issues. Was extremely finicky while trying to get him off the kibble (vet's orders). Chick, Chick Chicken was the only food he would consistently eat and it made a world of difference to his health. That was 3 years ago and, except for treats, it's all he eats and all he wants.

Eats it dry!

I have my 2 year old orange tabby loving this food. I’ll give it to you in the morning with some dry kibble and it’s always gone by the time I come home. I don’t have to add water to it -she eats it dry and absolutely loves it. And I love the fact that she drinks water because she eats it dry.

One of the originals and still the favorite

Chick Chick Chicken dinner has been around for many years. We first sampled this at a cat show in Santa Monica probably over 10 years ago. Boo loved it then and still now at 16 years old. Chicken is the easiest to digest for a cat of this age and she still thinks it daily treats.

Nothing Else Would Do

Harry had urinary issues and had to have canned/wet food only. After trying SO many different brands and flavors and having him like it for maybe 2 days, I tried using Chick, Chick Chicken. That was over 3 years ago and it's all he eats. No urinary issues since.

I adopted a cat 3 years ago and started her on this food at that time. She’s the shiniest black cat ever, also she’s 4 years old and still has her kittenish figure, she doesn’t look like a bowling ball as my previous cats did. No "snack pack"

Tried this food, cat loved it

My cat loves this food. I bought it, fed her some she wolfed that down. I put it in the cupboard. A few minutes later I caught the cat on my kitchen counter. Told her to get down, she knew she was in trouble. It is now kept in the fridge.

My baby loves these....

We had both types of food in the stroller. My boy Lou Wegie who also is a Norwegian Forest Cat likes the Kibble but really loves the Freeze Dried too.
Soon his baby sister Honey Bear (pictured) will be changing to this brand too.

I bought this food after a friend recommended it. My cat loves it. She will eat it as a treat or when she's fussy about her canned food I give her a dish of these morsels for her entree. Either way she loves it.

My Maine Coon will eat almost no wet food but loves the Chick, Chick, Chicken. He eats it as is—no added water...sort of like treats. Unfortunately, I can’t get him to eat the largest bag of the Duck flavor.

Kalos can be finicky but when I found this Freeze dried Chick Chick Chicken on sale at Pet Supplies Plus I tried it for her and am so happy I did.
Her appetite has improved and meows at meal time again!

Wonderful substitute for kibble

I use this in place of kibble now and both of my cats love it. I don't even add water - just break up a few nuggets in to pieces so they still have something to actively chew on. If one of them is being picky about their canned meat, I crumble some up as a topper and it works every time. Only reason for 4 stars is that lately, the morsels seem to be noticeably harder - almost stale - they don't even smell like the bags I've gotten in the past where the smell of the morsels was much more prevelant... Not a total deal breaker but I hope this was just an odd batch and I'll be able to find the nice soft stuff again soon! It's also pretty expensive, but that keeps me mindful to pay attention to how much I'm giving them.

My 2 cars FAVORITE food

I bought this for my 1 year old kittens, trying to feed them something healthier and less processed than the dry cat food they really like. One of my cats doesn't care for canned wet food but when I introduced the freeze dried raw chicken they both LOVED it! I don't even reconstitute it, it crushes very easily it with my fingers over their dry food. They always drink plenty of water so it's fine. I would like to feed them this exclusively but it's prohibitively expensive for me to do that with 2 cats. So it's a supplemental thing and it's their favorite treat. I also tried the Salmon flavor and they like it but the Chicken is their preference by far. I will eventually try the Duck and the Turkey flavors on them too.

Saved my cat!!

the raw food diet saved my 11 year old cat who was suffering from IBS. He was down to 5 ilbs from the loose bowels when I found out about the raw diet. The Stella & Chewy brand offered the raw chicken in a convenient freezed dried product. My cat loved it and has gained weight, put on lean muscles and has no digestive problems. The vet was amazed. Thank you!
