Best Food I have ever given to my Cats!

I have been using Stella and Chewy's freeze dried dinner morsels for my 3 cats for a while now. It's the best cat food I have ever given my cats! They each have more energy, more lean muscle mass and fur is so soft - not loosing as much fur either. Only complaint is the new packaging is coming with different ziplock closures which fail almost the moment you use them - Stella and Chewy's please go back to the old zip lock closures!!

Best Food to Feed a Ferret and she loves it

We got our ferret 2 years ago and she was on a full diet of kibble, doing lots of research we learned that this food is good for ferrets (no peas, no fillers and all natural) so right away we started to add this into her diet and now she is on a full Stella & Chewy freeze-dried diet with kibble for snacks. She loves it and is so happy when it is time for her "brick" as we call it. So happy to have found this food for her :)

Amazing and very convenient

I love this product because it makes it so much easier to give raw to my cat without the hassle of putting a frozen amount in the fridge to thaw out and then giving it to him. This product is so simple and easy. My cat loves it as well, he’s always so excited when it’s time to eat and he finishes it within minutes. I also love that this product helps my cat to get more water intake since it needs to be in water.

My go to for picky or non eaters

I am a professional pet sitter and have used the Chicken Dinner Morsels as my go to for client's cats that are picky eaters, will not eat or have no interest in their food. I also use it for my kitties. This is my recommendation to clients that have challenges especially with senior kitties. They can eat it dry, mix with broth or water. I carry a bag in my car to make sure I have it on hand at all times.

Cats can’t get enough!

My boys looooove this one. I like that I don’t have to break anything up into pieces like the patties. The morsels are bite sized. I have to hold off my usually patient Apollo from sticking his head in his bowl to sneak off with one before I’m finished serving them! Even if it is a little pricey with 2 cats, I know they’re getting the best diet. No smelly poops, a shiny coat, and happy, energetic cats!

I bought this a couple months ago and my cat used to be extremely picky. I would never be able to find a product that he actually wanted to eat he kept trying to eat my dogs food. Decided to try out their products and now I have to measure out how much I put in his bowl every day because he just eats everything that is in there. Sometimes he will even nap outside of his food bowl so it’s not too far.

My cats love this food. I found I was throwing away a lot of canned wet food and trying to find brands they would like and then I saw this freeze dried food so I got a small sample and they loved it. I find that a variety is best. They let me know that chicken everyday was not a good thing so I bought turkey and duck. They didn't care for the rabbit or the duck so we stick to the turkey and chicken.

I have been using the freeze-dried versions of these, but realized that using the frozen variety would save me over $1/serving. My kitties both seem to love them, plus they're easier to use. I portion out the correct amount and put them in the refrigerator to defrost for the next meal...easy, peasy! So happy that I found these and that my cats love them just as much as the freeze dried variety.

I bought this product because I loved the ingredients and wanted my cats to have the best, most species appropriate food possible and this definitely fits the bill. My cats love Stella & Chewy's freeze dried morsels, especially the Chicken and the Duck. They will inhale this right up and I cannot recommend this product enough. It is so easy to give to felines and just makes them happy and healthy.

Was given a free sample of these at What’s in the Bowl pet store. I was sure our cat wouldn’t eat them. Man, was I wrong! She loves them and we give them to her as a treat. Recently, she started rejecting her food and will only eat tuna, which doesn’t have enough nutrients for cats. We put crumble these little miracle nuggets on her food and she devours everything. He Loves This!

Our cat, Freddie, has only half his teeth left & could no longer eat hard food. This freeze dried food is a purrfect supplement to the soft food. He loved it when we first introduced it to him and still does. He likes the other flavors, too! Highly recommend this food!
And I love it that this food is made in a Wisconsin city nearby. I want to support as many of these businesses as I can!

wonderful food

I bought this food after many many tries to get my 14 yo cat to eat and keep food down. She wats it watered down to almost a broth. She has stopped vomitting and is also added a little weight. Coat is better. she is now able too hold down dry kibble but she still gets this food approx. every 3 days. the only part she will not ezt is the hard bits in the bottom of the bowl that does not soften

My four ferrets and cat eat the Stella & Chewy's - Chick, Chick Chicken Freeze-Dried Raw Dinner Morsels everyday. It's a great treat and a yummy meal! It's super nutrious, so I know that all my furbabies are getting their dietary needs met. We have been eating this for over a year now! Even my newest foster ferret (who refused all food) loves these! She was easy to convince. Highly recommend!

Easiest Transition

I've transitioned my cats off of dry food to wet canned food. I then wanted to make the transition to raw, my cats wouldn't go for it so I decided to try freeze dried raw. They absolutely love this food!! I've got two out of the 4 on a raw diet and two are still eating this. I will always incorporate this into their food however even once I get all 4 on a fresh raw diet. Highly recommend!!

My cat LOVES this stuff — DRY. I’ve tried rehydrating it but she won’t touch it. No problem, as it certainly cuts down on prep :). I normally only give her 8-10 nuggets a day as a snack/treat, but when her insides act up (for ?? reasons), I cut out her canned food for a week and replace it with this. I sincerely believe the added probiotics are instrumental in getting her back to normal.

Chick Chick Chicken as a snack

IMy 16 year old cat with mild kidney disease is a picky eater. I found Chick Chick Chicken recommended with a safe level of phosphorus so I decided to purchase it as a snack . My cat loved it ! She loved it so much that she gobbled it up and then vomited. She wouldn't eat it reconstituted with water. Sadly I had to stop feeding her this as she wasn't tolerating her own gluttony.

Caused irritation to one of my cats

After starting on Stella's Chicken freeze dried one of my cats started being very lethargic. After a few days I got very worried and we took her to the vet. Her tummy was inflamed and it seems that the bone product in this was causing some stomach issues for her. Our other cat liked it but make sure your cat is OK with bone product. Also of note is that this will show up on x-ray's.

I love the product, no questions about this. However, more than once the product is just one big frozen clump when I open the bag. I know it must be difficult to maintain a frozen product from warehouse to store, but when I buy it from Pet Supplies in this condition, it leads me to believe that somewhere along the line the product was in a thawed state before it was refrozen.

My wonderful gray cat Chad just loves the Stella & Chewy's Chick Chick Chicken Freeze-Dried Dinner Morsels. He comes running whenever he sees me reach for the bag. He loves them as nuggets or I crush them and mix with water. This is one product he never turns his nose up at. I always know he will finish eat every nuggest in the bag and never waste it. We both love that.

My Bengals Love This

This freeze dried kibble is the only cat food my fussy Bengal cats will eat. They prefer it dry, which is easier for me. Also, it is one of the very few specialized foods for Bengals. The downside is the cost. My 2 cats go through 2 18 oz bags weekly. Hopefully price will go down to Fall ‘22 once avian flu problem is over. Still, I am not considering any other brand.

I feed my cat raw food that I make myself. That being said, it's time consuming so I have to have other options on hand. I tried several freeze dried, reconstitute w water foods and they hated them all except this one. for cats used to fresh protein, that's saying something! only thing that stops us buying it more is the cost. it's pretty pricey, but the quality is good!

Great way to feed raw!

I love feeding my 2 bengals this food. I think a raw diet is healthiest for them but I don’t have the time or diligence to do fresh raw. This is also expensive using it exclusively so I use this once a day and then other canned foods for their 2nd feeding. Another bonus is that they have to chew these morsels with back teeth so it helps keep their teeth and gums healthy.

Saved my cat's life

Noah was found allergic to dried commercial kibble due to the mold found in the products. He lost over 10lbs while we tried to find a food for him. After researching about correct feeding of cats, we found Stella &Chewy. The freeze dried chicken was miraculous. Noah is 13 years old. He has the energy of a teenager. The vet was amazed at his recovery and his good health.

These were not a hit in my house. 3 out of my 4 cats turned their noses up at these and the only reason the 4th ate them is because he will eat anything you set in front of him. I can't even think of one positive thing I could say, they have an odd texture and look unsightly. Only acquired them as free samples so I'm glad I didn't actually spend any money on them.

Thanks for giving our food a try! Some cats prefer certain recipes over others, so
it might be worthwhile to test out some other proteins. Some cats also prefer
freeze-dried over frozen, raw over kibble, etc.. One thing you can try is including some warm (never hot) water or broth with the food - this heightens the smell of the food and is usually a great way to entice picky pets to eat.

My cat is a finicky eater, I have tried different brands of cat food, on a whim and a suggestion I bought the chiicken freeze dried dinner morsels after he tried the turkey freeze dried morsels(he ate that for a little while than stopped) .
He seems to really like it and licks the bowl clean. The freeze dried dinner morsels are definitely a keeper for my kitty.

I have 4 cats who I’ve weaned off of kibble completely. Eventually I would like to start feeding raw, so I figured the freeze dried raw morsels would be a great place to start. I crumble and mix these with some water and canned food, all of my cats love it! No tummy issues either! I really appreciate when a company cares about the ingredients of their pet food.

Although this is supposed to be rehydrated, my cats prefer it in the dry state and a bit crumbled - most likely because it resembles dry food (which they don't get any more). My older cat goes to the cabinet where I store it and meows til she gets some!
I love that it's really nutritious, easy to store, and easy to feed!

Expensive...but well worth it!

I tried Stella and Chewy because my cats are greedy and don't properly chew their food. It did help with slowing them down, but the added bonus was the change in their coats. Smooth, shiny and soft!!! What a change from before. And it helped their digestion. No more throwing up due to the lack of chewing. I'm good. It's pricey, but you get what you pay for.
